Primary Care
Metro Geriatric providers are dedicated to providing care to anyone living in a retirement community, nursing home or assisted living center. Our team is certified and experienced as Geriatric Specialist dedicated to helping those who are "Young at Heart". We currently have five providers who provide primary care.
Wound Care
Providers that are specialized in the care of acute, chronic and complex wounds. These providers work closely with facility staff and primary care to help promote a holistic approach to healing. We currently have three providers caring for patients with wounds.
Psychiatric and Mental Health

Dr. Robert Conner DO
Medical Director/Owner
Dr. Conner has a 35 plus year history of taking care of patients. He has specialized for the last 25 years in the field of Geriatric medicine. Dr. Conner has a strong belief in providing high quality care for his patients and he is passionately dedicated to his practice. He leads a team of 8 nurse practioners who specialize in the care of those who are young at heart. Dr. Conner trained at Des Moines University school of medicine. Dr. Conner is board certified in Geriatric medicine and is currently the medical director for Metro Geriatric services. Prior to opening his own practice Dr. Conner served as Medical director for the Mercy Clinics Geriatric Services for 20 plus years.Dr. Conner lives in Norwalk Iowa with his wife Sue. He enjoys world history and loves sports. His driving passion is connecting with patients and helping them live the best lives they can. You can always count on a handshake when you see him in the hallway or in the office.
